Vivarium: Philosophy Discussions On Any Subject

Sometimes I go googling complaints, such as "My Husband Won't" just to see what pops up. I like looking up categorical,  broad spectrum questions to see how logic and emotion mixes.

Today, I find a "Dear Abbey" article, of a woman upset, or jealous, that her husband and her new pet monkey is spending too much time together. He even got it a chair at tge table, and when sexy time approaches, he rejects it, saying he rather play eith the monkey.

Very few things in life can compete with sex, a monkey is borderline. I personally woukd have to give a double take to both the woman and the monkey, and cobsider which wouod bring more joy. If she just recently got a haircut I didn't like, or was getting boring in bed, I might very well opt for tge monkey, as monkies are alot of fun. It is unfortunate the monkey couldn't just come along too, but that woukd pervert the monkey and woukd require the monkey to wear BDSM suit and leather face mask. Thats not good for the monkey, so would have to stay outside the bedroom. No need to introduce images into its mind it can't erase.

Im especially shocked at Abby's revealing history regarding ger past experience involving monkies, and how fast she is to write off the relationship. Is she saying get rid of monkey, or husband? I find it a sign either way that our civilization is failing.
