LOGIC / REASON

Logic is basically the systematic study of argument form and inference and paradox. And is an attempt to make
sense of assumptions made about the world rather than the world as such. For that is the remit of reason which
is the application of logic with reference to understanding the world. And so reason is therefore a subset of logic
: all reason is logic but not all logic is reason. And so there is a hierarchy of epistemology with reason at the top

FORMAL / INFORMAL FALLACIES

A formal fallacy or deductive fallacy is a sequence of reasoning rendered invalid by a flaw in the logical structure of an
argument. An informal fallacy may have a valid logical structure yet still be unsound because either one or more of its
premises are false. Identifying  any fallacy will not render a conclusion false. The argument will not support it however

DEDUCTION / INDUCTION

Deduction pertains to what is definitely true and uses proof to determine this. It is the remit of axiomatically complete systems of logic like
mathematics and syllogisms. And induction pertains to what is probably true and uses evidence to determine this. It is the remit of science

A conclusion can be true without it automatically being dependent on every single premise which
precedes it. Like for example where one of them contains a fallacy. Now the conclusion would be
equally true without any fallacy. But the difference is the argument would support it in that case
