Rhetoric and Dialectic / Truth about TED talks

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4JhwQ17mLjo

I stopped watching them after three talks when it first came out,  realised it was a infomercial scam.  Known many people obsessed with it. Just stopped caring.

This exposes the methodology of the organization,  they make 16 Million each year off the show from ticket sales alone,  not to mention advertising money from YouTube watches..... none of the speakers are paid.

Nubia converted to Christianity of it's own accord early on,  wasn't even as a unified nation but various kingdoms importing different creeds popular north in Egypt at that time. It was largely positive and stimulated state formation that lasted a thousand years. No white person,  nor colonialism forced Nubia to convert,  quite to the contrary. Records still exist,  as well as local church services,  I was editing a text a month or so back (maybe two)  on the history of one of the local kingdoms.

Wasn't until the Turks,  followed by British-French struggles in the 1880's during the Madhi War that anything resembling western colonialism emerged,  and the way it emerged was honestly rather absurd.

They are a ancient people, well documented and not dependent on outsiders for their existence. Same goes for Ethiopia,  nobody forced them to design their churches as such. When you choose to see the world through white racial colonialism you miss a lot of preceding history,  or worst,  the need to overinflate it. Nubia is,  no better,  no worst,  than a lower tier civilization who rubbed shoulders with the Granarian Civilization,  Ur,  and Egypt,  even conquering Egypt at times,  but due to the Cataphracts in the Nile River,  couldn't form a large state in antiquity or the middle ages for long. It has great antiquity,  but was rarely stand out amazing- which is in fairness a characterization of most states,  and is far better than most people who couldn't even form the rudiments of central government and sedentary civilization, like my German ancestors couldn't. Nubia was civilized far longer than my people ever would,  and the Germans didn't have the excuse of harsh terrain or logistical barriers.

Nubia has full rights to classical architecture,  they after all participated in it.

Okay,  now I understand,  just watched the movie "The Lobster", now I know your country is in terminal decline. Knew something was up with "Children of Men", but now I get why the terrorists hate your country so much,  and why everyone is so quick to embrace them and die. It is in your nature- all those posts by you and Manni- it is all coming together now. Disgusting,  a whole nation committing suicide.

Do not become a Lobster.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/03/20/police-drag-anti-mass-migration-campaigner-asking-anti-islamophobia-protestors-questions/

Yeah,  your country has a history of removing all dissent to political discourse. In the US,  we just deploy riot policy as 30 some groups with different opinions protest,  letting them be so long as they don't actually attack people or property. It's where you get the stupid liberal pictures of little women acting tough to riot police,  saying it sparked a movement or defined a moment,  as the police backed off. Obviously cops in full riot kit with riot gas on standby aren't backing down out of fear of a little confused woman,  but because of contingency planning for controlling such situations can usually (not always)  be asserted,  such as taking a position with room to the rear,  allowing them to fall back- if they can't,  then it gets violent, and little woman gets maced. Many groups figured this out so press for the photographic finished.

In Korea,  they literally make protest phalanxs with PVC pipe and garbage can shields,  going up against Roman styled police.

Democracies go through this violence because the speech and expression is considered more vital than the tyranny of a absolutely peaceful protest. UK is increasingly not a democracy because it doesn't allow increasingly dissent,  not just to government,  but movements.

And only Muslims,  Unitarians,  and Baha'i believe the Muslim God is the same as the Christian.  No Christian says this.

I'm currently in some place linked to philosophy called Babbage philosophy/ temple of hesphaestus. I was invited after the owner of the sim saw me defeat the current head of what remains of philosophy house to help build up a counter philosophical school.

Before I returned, the entire virtual world was split pretty much between Thothica and remnants of the old philosophy house. I'm building up a new order, gather forces. Once I finish with the main site, load a lot of debate material there.

Would recommend you join Philosophy House (group), head to Thothica (place) and keep a ear out for events dealing in philosophy. I might see if I can start events here soon, using Lumiya App on phone so not certain I can.

I've been very busy. If your on Second Life, and are a member of Philosophy House, I do a standup act each night in the chat at random. Purely random questions using purposefully demented logic that formulaically sounds correct. Quite funny, last night I advocated taxing friendship.

About time to call it quits in regards to calling the UK a Democracy noe, isn't it? This is behavior one expects from the Reich. They did nothing wrong, but police did wrong from enforcing a bad law.

That's not at root even religious tyranny, if it was, stop signs would have to be religious tyranny too. A religion can embrace rules it didn't originate on the basis of pragmatism. Christians inherit the anti-incest rules from roman law, and centuries passed in the nasty middle ages when the rule wasn't enforced, leading to absurd deformities like The Hapsburgh Jaw.

These mutations stack up pretty quick in a incestous population. You've ever seen retarded families, where both the mother and father are tards? Kids don't usually come out as intellectual superstars. They are left to find similarly **** up mates, and that just keeps building one generation after the next. Soon you have entire areas full of retards.

Nothing stops them, they got a incredible sex drive. Retards everywhere.

I seriously doubt I can. The coding I looked atbwas for colorbstyles and spacing, it is from what I'm guessing a set of commands that triggers the actual software that decides the locations of each function. I have a series of functions that are checkboxes, letting me deactivate certain functions, but its not apparent I can control this. Its a coincidence of this particular software. If I had Trixie's coding skills, maybe. I know the commands would require some sort of  vinculum staged intercept operation to modify this site. Most people aren't smart enough to do that.

I will show you some forum options in the future here soon on what options I have for the new site. I'm a bit distracted right now though with a exceptionally difficult problem, why I'm rarely around, draining my brain. In a few days or week.

Yeah, that's why I'm working on a new website, its own forum. I'm going to keep this around as a backup forum, cause sites do go down.

Nope, I just went through half the code, nothing looks like the color codes I've seen for white or black colors, and every theme I've seen offers just white or black. Until I know more about coding, I can't change it. I think I can change the text color if you want it back to black.

I'm in talks with people on a better homesite to base a forum out of. If you can give me time, I can possibly do it more neutral, just this current forum is limited in colors unless you know CSS. I don't know much about CSS, when I say I'm coding, its Heron of Alexandria era, or Ramon Llull, I don't like computer coding, that's INTP territory. I'm surprised I've picked up what I have so far.

If you feel you must quit, I understand, wish you the best. All white backgrounds hurt my eyes.

Pan Philosophy Debates / Re: TIME

Much of what we perceive to be common sense in regards to time is often a side effect of how we process sensations into concepts, and store as well as trigger concepts once absorbed, identifying it with "events".

I recommend looking into that work.

How do you get distance between events? Further, would mnemonics be time then?
