The reason why there is an age of consent is to protect children from adults. Because they are children they are
not deemed mature or responsible enough to make decisions for themselves. Now not every one matures at the
same age but you can not apply the law subjectively on a case by case basis and so it has to be the same for all

That is so closed minded it sickens me.
First off, it is ageism, and secondly it assumes that sex is some kind of violent, disgusting act, children must give consent to enjoy....like being forces to endure a massage, or a kiss, or  hug.

Sure it can be uncomfortable when someone you don't know hugs you, but you're to going to go crying to the police if it happens.

And it is also closed-minded speceism, as if animals cannot give consent using their own form of communication, as if only humans are permitted the privilege of consenting.
Give me a break.

What a bigot.
Open your mind, buddy....prepare for the inevitable, the coming New Age.
